Neutron Star Systems completes US restructuring to capitalize on business and defense partnership opportunities

Colorado Springs, April 2022 Neutron Star Systems (NSS) has completed the restructuring of its presence in the United States. The restructuring, which was carried out in order to facilitate doing business between NSS and government and commercial customers in the United States, further provides NSS with the flexibility to operate freely within an ever-changing geopolitical landscape. A governing board of directors has been established to guide the activities of NSS in the United States.
NSS established its first presence in the United States on May 31 last year, as part of the Catalyst Accelerator, sponsored by the US Space Force and Air Force Research Laboratory. Further success soon followed, as NSS USA was accepted into the Q-Station Soft Landing Incubation Program in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was awarded 3rd Prize in the 2021 Hyperspace Challenge. the potential offered by these opportunities and to engage effectively with our stakeholders in the United States, NSS decided to restructure its activities in the United States. The original S-Corp has been replaced by two new legal entities: NSS USA Corp. will oversee all business operations and serve as a link to the German NSS entities. A subsidiary, NSS LLC, was also incorporated, entirely dedicated to seeking and executing government contracting opportunities.

In 2018, she graduated in industrial engineering from the European University of Applied Sciences Brühl and now leads operational matters at the NSS, including human resources, control and standardization.

David is a British Physicist and Chartered Engineer with over 3 decades experience in the space industry. David brings a wealth of experience, having led dozens of ESA and EU contracts, and with a track record of several successful launches of space equipment. More specifically, he was responsible for managing the development and flight of the T5 electric propulsion system used on ESA’s GOCE mission.
