According to the firm’s press release, Tole is an intellectual property (IP) attorney who advises a variety of clients, from small and medium businesses to Fortune 500 companies, on all facets of brand management, including prosecution and enforcement of trademarks. Tole also provides strategic advice to clients on portfolio management, domain name and internet litigation, delisting proceedings, trademark infringement actions, licensing agreements, property due diligence. intellectual property, coexistence agreements and technology / confidentiality contracts.
As an active member of the IP profession in Canada, Tole is a co-author of Hughes on Trademarks (LexisNexis Butterworths) and Trademarks Act and Commentary (LexisNexis) and writes chapters in Canadian Forms and Precedents as good as Halsbury Laws of Canada (LexisNexis) on trademarks.
Antonangeli focuses his practice on litigation. She was previously an intern and summer student at the firm. Prior to joining Dickinson Wright, she obtained a double doctorate in law from the University of Windsor and the Mercy School of Law at the University of Detroit. During her law studies, she completed a judicial clerkship with a Michigan magistrate. She received her BA and MA from the University of Toronto.
Dumais develops a broad practice in a variety of industries including games, business / commerce, sports and entertainment, and intellectual property. Prior to joining Dickinson Wright, he interned with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. He received his BA from the University of Victoria and his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School.
As a business and commercial lawyer, Esfandiari focuses his practice on banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and general corporate and commercial matters. He received his BA from York University, his MBA from the Schulich School of Business and his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Luckiram’s primary practice areas include securities and capital markets, public company regulatory compliance, and equity / debt offerings. He continues to develop his practice in the area of mergers and acquisitions and emerging / high growth company law. He holds a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sussex Law School and a Masters of International Civil and Commercial Law from the Law School of the Leiden University in the Netherlands.
Poliwoda has experience in a variety of matters involving corporate / commercial litigation, competition law, international trade, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, government affairs and public law.
He received his BA from Western University and his JD from the University of Toronto Law School.
Yu maintains a broad business and corporate practice with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions of domestic and cross-border public and private enterprises, corporate restructuring and corporate governance. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in the litigation practice group of a leading regional firm and in the transactional practice groups of an international firm. LydiaYu obtained her JD / BA from Western University.
